Mawanella United Sports Club is the heart of the city. Throughout its proud history, our sports club has a built deep, lasting kinship with communities in Mawanella and in cities further afield. United is the oldest Football club in Mawanella and its long history began back in 1967. Like so many football clubs that started around the late 1900’s United Football club is formed by a group of pioneer social workers in 1967 the club was originally know as a social services and sports club
